leopard - leppard

It is true what they say...a leopard never changes his spots...I so wanted to believe this was not true, but it is and something I recently learned the hard way.  It is also true that life goes on, and so it has.  And it is definitely true that what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.  This is something I have learned too and I am stronger and wiser.  And now I can finally close a chapter in my life for good.  I feel like a pretty little flower that is just now blooming.

But if I died tomorrow, someone please play this Def Leppard song at my service...Only The Good Die Young...

No wait, I met a nice guy and I would kinda like to stick around for a while...my van broke down last week and I had to have it towed...that was not a good day but it all worked out and the tow truck driver was really cute, and really very nice...we've gone out twice now.  I've never in my life kissed a guy with a pierced tongue...I kinda liked it :)))

Wolfy's at Sunset - my new favorite place

While I created this blog to journal Triumph's training and trialing, since I fractured my foot four weeks ago, I haven't been able to do much training and we haven't shown since the USDAA trial in South Carolina the middle of April.  I managed to win Steeplechase round 1 with both dogs, running with a fractured foot...so I have no excuses anymore :)

My foot is healing nicely and I don't have to wear the boot anymore, so yeah for me but I'm not supposed to run for another 2 weeks, boohoo.  That will give me one week before the Regional in Perry Georgia to really train and actually run...running Triumph without much practice will be like running a freight train that has been shot out of a cannon...oh boy!  I'm not worried about Burn, he will be a good boy.  He got to go to work with me a few weeks ago and he got to have lunch at Lake Eola with the girls that day...he was very happy about that!

I applied at Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Florida...to be a Big Sister...I have gone through the initial application process and a phone interview.  Next month, I have a training session, two more interviews, more background checks, and then they match me with a Little...how cool is that?

Chillin in the backyard last weekend...
